Q. What do you love about your profession?
A. I love that there is so much to learn about the world of health insurance. It’s very fast-paced and always changing. I also love the opportunity to build quality relationships with people in all walks of life in our community.
Q. How did you choose that profession?
A. I honestly just fell into it. Through my time at the university and in the professional world, I’ve been very fortunate to make some great connections. Through those connections and friendships, I was told about the opportunity to join AssuredPartners. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up, and I’ve been there ever since.
Q. What’s your favorite (memory) from your Undergrad?
A. It’s hard to list just one as my favorite memory. I really enjoyed my time in Delta Sigma Pi. It connected me to the University and College of Business. Also, it introduced me to some amazing people that I’m very fortunate to call my friends.
Q. What made you decide to be a COBAA Member?
A. I wanted to become a COBAA Member because it gives me the opportunity to stay connected to the place that helped me become the person I am today. Not only that, but it also helps connect me to other professionals who also called the College of Business home.
Q. Tell us about life after college:
A. I thought I wanted to get out of Reno, but after 6 months in San Jose, I decided that Reno was the place for me. I started my career in the recruiting industry, but I’ve since made the move to the world of health insurance. Along with COBAA, I am a board member for NCET and United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.
