Q. What do you love about your profession?
A. Few professions are allowed to dive into businesses’ operations in the way that Insurance Brokers are able to. I love that.
I also have a passion for understanding what drives businesses and their leaders to succeed. When that understanding is tied to keeping their people and financial assets safe, you cannot ask for something more fulfilling.
Q. How did you choose that profession?
A. I am a 3rd generation Insurance Broker. It’s in my blood!
Q. What’s your favorite (memory) from your Undergrad?
A. I spent my Undergrad at California Lutheran University where I played football, studied marketing and communications, and made lifelong friends. Picking a single memory seems impossible, rather the memories made with my teammates, friends, and classmates on campus, in William Rolland Stadium, and in the Pearson Library will always mean the world to me.
Q. What made you decide to be a COBAA Member?
A. I love UNR and wanted to find a way to get involved. The Wolfpack and its alumni are a huge part of this community, and being close to that energy has become a priority of mine since graduation.
The COBAA provides opportunities for students while keeping its alumni involved with the University. These are areas and objectives I wanted to align myself with.
Q. Tell us about life after college:
A. Home is where the heart is! After completing my undergraduate degree in Southern California, I returned to my hometown of Reno, Nevada, and began working in gaming for the Peppermill Resort.
After stints in Marketing, Operations, and Sales, I returned to my roots and began my career as an Insurance Broker for LP Insurance Services. As a 3rd generation broker, I feel I am in my element. Alongside my friends and family, I enjoy all that the Sierra Nevadas have to offer. You can find me taking it all in, whether it be in a lake, river, or on a mountain on my days off!
