Name: Samuel Crampton
Position: Board Member At-Large
Profession/Title: Business Broker
Company: M&A Business Advisors

Q. What do you love about your profession?

A. Everyday I work with current and future business owners to make their dreams become a reality. From the entrepreneur to the grizzled 30 year business owner, I help them continue successful businesses in our community.

Q. How did you choose that profession?

A. I Saw an opportunity leverage my business talents (acquired through Nevada) and previous business experience in a meaningful way to both myself and our community.

Q. What’s your favorite (memory) from your Undergrad?

A. Field goal missed, field goal missed, and a Nevada victory over Boise

Q. What made you decide to be a COBAA Member?

A. Business is the lifeblood of our community and building a strong business community in Northern Nevada necessitates that our local business school be involved. Alumni organizations can build the less formal bridges that keep quality talent local and ultimately develop a resilient business community. I hope to help in keeping our talent local.

Q. Tell us about life after college:

A. Politics, business, and the military have all taught me that the successful people work smarter and harder. So, when you take that first job simply plan to work more than most and leverage what you have learned so far.
